Shooting Hunter Douglas’ window treatments on location is a time-intensive and logistical challenge that is not unlike staging a feature film.
Two months prior to this shoot, we scouted over 20 homes in the Bay Area to narrow it down to 5 that would work for the shoot.
For the actual shoot, we spend about a full day preparing and shooting each hero shot and the details. We have to faux install the shades without damaging the homes, completely change out the furniture and decor, coordinate talent, and keep a crew of about 20 people well fed.
It’s a big job and we love this kind of work.
Hunter Douglas loves us, too!
Since 2013, we’ve photographed the beauty shots of most of their high-end product lines including Luminette, Vignette, Silhouette, and most recently Pirouette.
